Words cannot express my sympathy for those who lost their little ones yesterday. No more little tykes eating too much ice cream and sweets; messing up the whole house with painting and art projects; singing, dancing and making a racket for no reason other than the sheer joy of being alive; or scampering to check out Santa’s gifts on Christmas morning. How can the parents ever get over their grief?
We can only thank God for the gift of life that we all have, treasure our loved ones and pray that God will comfort those who are bereaved.
Banning guns and passing more regulations won’t solve the problem. The shooter violated at least three gun laws and many other laws too. Mad people do not obey laws. They have to be stopped. I agree with those who say our precious little children should be guarded just like we guard our nuclear weapons and our President. We should have armed officers at every single school.
Passing gun laws in only a political tool. If Obama really believed passing gun laws would stop shooters; he would pass the laws and then get rid of his armed secret service officers!! But he, Clinton and even Susan Rice have armed officers protecting them. Are they more important than our children?
Just like other dictators, Obama only seeks to take away the right of ordinary people to defend themselves. Don’t forget, in “Fast & Furious,” Obama gave guns to the Mexican Mafia, which used them to kill 400 innocent Mexicans, including 17 children, and our own ICE agents; so Obama could call for the ban of guns in America.
Cities that have open carry laws have the least crime. Criminals are afraid somebody may shoot them dead if they try their violence on innocent people. If someone had a gun yesterday, the murderer would have been stopped before he killed.
We also need to discuss the violence in movies and video games. The shooter/joker killed 13 people at the premier of “Dark Man Rising,” copying the Joker Heath Ledger’s movie violence. Children’s violent video games are training unstable minds in how to kill, desensitizing them and rewarding them for the “kills.” Check out your kids’ video games. If they are training your kids to extreme violence, toss them. They don’t need that “training.” It is not “fun” or “cool.” And does it make any sense to allow Hollywood to make billions marketing extremely violent movies and video games that induce unstable people to commit heinous crimes?
Then, we need to discuss how we handle mentally unstable people. Our laws state they cannot be forced, and must be given the “choice,” whether or not to take their medications. Even parents can do nothing about children exhibiting violent anti-social behavior. And nothing is done until, inevitably, they commit a monstrous crime. Then we call for more gun regulations!! Does this make any sense?
