Breaking News: Pope Obama just declared war on Catholics. “Henceforth.” he thundered, “I shall be the Pope. 98% of all Catholic women support my position on contraception. And being the Pope of all Catholics is, after all, a popularity contest. I hereby declare that the Pope in Rome is now dethroned and order my Journolist troops to destroy all political opponents. And I will decide what Catholic Doctrine is!” “Yes, Yes!” shouted the JournoList Media weasels. “And I will lead them, my Lord” said Consigliore, sorry, Cardinal Stephanopoulos.
More Breaking News: Imam Obama also declared war on Islam. “Henceforth,” he declared, “I shall be the Chief Imam. 98% of Muslims love their pets and think pets should be allowed to stay inside the house with their owners. I hereby declare that Wahhabi Islam is too strict. Muslims should not be forced to consider pets Haram (unclean). And I will be the Chief Imam and declare what Islam really means.” Oops! – Scratch that! Obama would never try to dictate Doctrine to a Muslim.
Pope Obama and his Journolist Media Army
The media have always worked in secret as a cabal, protecting Liberals and attacking Republicans. Hundreds of prominent journalists from Time, Newsweek, the Associated Press, Reuters, the Washington Post, New York Times, Politico, Bloomberg, Huffington Post, PBS, a large NPR affiliate in California, Hollywood big shots, professors and other liberals created a top-secret, password-protected website, the JournoList.1,2,3,4 They used this website to plan and coordinate their attacks on Republicans, whom they unfailingly called “Racists!” or “Hatemongers!”
This Media conspiracy continues even today. In a brilliant expose, Tucker Carlson of Daily Caller,5 has shown how David Brooks and his Media Matters operated. First of all, Media Matters gets it money from various George Soros affiliated groups. Media Matters actually worked with the White House to take down Obama’s “enemies” aka conservatives. To co-ordinate strategy, Media Matters had weekly meetings with White House officials, and followed up with meetings with progressive media organizations. Over 50 researchers would be assigned to dig up dirt on the target. Others would write thousands of emails complaining about the target. Yet others would send letters and make phone calls to the advertisers demanding they pull their ads; and make threats that if they didn’t, the company itself would face an advertising campaign against them. Next, they actually wrote the copy for prominent liberal journalists – MSNBC anchors and executives, Greg Sargent of the Washington Post, James Rainer of the LA Times, Eugene Dobbs, E.J. Dionne, and many more. Among their chief targets was Fox News. Among their biggest “successes” were Don Imus, Lou Dobbs, Glen Beck and Judge Napolitano all of whom Media Matters got fired. Another big “success” for them was Dr. Laura where they targeted her advertisers with phone calls and emails demanding that they stop advertising on her.show. . For all of these, Media Matters wrote fake emails and made fake phone calls to their sponsors and advertisers pretending that the public was opposed to them. Advertisers and sponsors panicked and withdrew their advertising. This was media terrorism at its worst. And all the while, Media Matters, this most uncharitable entity acting as the arm of the Democrat Party, enjoyed tax-exempt status as a politically neutral “charitable corporation!” In contrast, they also used the JournoList to act in concert to conceal the truth about Obama. They were then, and remain today, a vast left-wing conspiracy whose sole purpose is to destroy our First Amendment Freedom of Speech and protect Obama.
When the public was terribly offended by Obama’s unconstitutional demand that Catholics violate their religious beliefs; the call went out for the Media to help. Following instructions from their master, Pope Obama, the Journolist media ginned up a controversy, Sandra Fluke, to distract attention from Obama’s outrageous pronouncements. And then went to work on Rush Limbaugh’s advertisers to get them to pull their advertising. Another success for the Journolist – Another exercise of Free Speech destroyed!! If they succeed here, why, Obama will coast to victory at the next Election. What more could a subservient Media do for a President? Some actual investigative journalism? No! No! You can’t expect that. Did you think ours was a Democracy with Free Speech Rights? You were mistaken, my friend.
Sandra Fluke, an unmarried 30-year-old third year law student demanded that the public pay for contraceptive “health” coverage for women at Georgetown University, the Jesuit college. She is on full scholarship, so someone else is already paying for her annual $50,000 education costs. But, in typical liberal fashion, she wanted the taxpayer to pay for more.
Ms. Fluke said that over 40% of Georgetown students have asked her to speak for them. She asserted that coverage costs $3,000 a year, more than any student can afford. She claimed she can “see on the faces of those women, how they are affected by the lack of contraceptive coverage and how they has suffered financially, emotionally and medically by this.” Furthermore, she claimed that some women are “embarrassed and feel powerless” because they couldn’t afford contraception!
Take a look at this demand. Ms. Fluke and other feminists want the public to pay for the consequences of their sexual activities under the guise of “Public Health.” If President Obama believes “having sex” equals “Public Health,” where will we draw the line? Will he ask us to pay for college student’s laundry costs? After all, they need clean sheets, don’t they? What about a bottle of wine? A pack of cigarettes? Or, to be more cool, how about us paying for a couple of joints? Toothpaste so the guy can brush his teeth? Breakfast muffins and a latte to help chug down the morning-after pill? Negliges? Perfume? Scented candles? Flowers? Will it ever end? It is totally unconscionable that this President, who claims to feel the pain of all those of us who are without jobs and poor, should call upon us to pay for this stuff for college students who can already afford $50,000 a year in tuition!!
Even worse, this whole thing is a hoax!! How much do these contraceptive items actually cost? For birth control pills: $9 per month, or $297 for 3 years of generic Ortho-Try-Cyclin. Condoms: Free in most places, particularly Planned Parenthood clinics. Skipping a couple of lattes would cover all this.
So what amounts to $3,000 for 3 years? Surely Ms. Fluke would not lie to us about the costs? Or would she? The balance $2,700 has to be the cost of morning after abortion pills for Ms. Fluke, if she has forgotten to take her birth control pills; forgotten to get her boyfriend(s) to wear a condom; and been unable to get the boyfriend(s) to pay for, or at least share in the cost of the pills, condoms &/or morning-after abortion pills. Is this what “gender equality” has become? Unmarried women offering up their bodies for free sex to men who don’t want committed relationships and who wont even share the cost of birth control?
Why do we, the taxpayers, have to pick up the tab for girls to behave like sluts? I’ll tell you why. Once we are forced to pay for morning after abortions, on “Public Health” grounds, it follows that we must pay for abortions that take place later on too. The whole point of this exercise was for Obama to control us and force us to give up our religion and our beliefs and pay for abortions.
In so doing, Obama has flagrantly violated our Constitutional guarantee of Free Exercise of Religion. He has launched a frontal attack on the Catholic Church and demanded they violate a central tenet of their religion. First, he demanded that because they receive money from him, they must do as he says. And provide, either directly or indirectly, free “reproductive health” services, (by which he means abortion services), to all women at their churches, their hospitals and their schools.6 Obviously, if the Catholic Church does any accommodation on this point, it ceases to exist as the Catholic Church.
The second prong of his attack is to divide and splinter Catholics by sneering that many Catholic women want birth control services and do not obey Catholic teachings anyway; essentially suggesting that Catholics rewrite their Doctrines. Thus he separates Catholics into conservatives who wont support him and will obey their church; and liberal women who will genuflect to Obama and his sacrament of abortion and death, vote for him, and put their loyalty to him and their greed to get “free” birth control pills; before their loyalty to their church. He has also violated the beliefs of the 70% of Americans who oppose abortion and the killing of unborn babies, by insisting that everyone pay for unlimited abortions for everyone. Couple this with his support for killing living babies born of botched abortions, and you have a man truly obsessed with death. 7.8 This violation of the Constitution’s Free Exercise of Religion is not the action of a Christian President. Nor is it the action of any President who intends to obey the oath he took to uphold our Constitution!
If he can exercise this kind of unlimited power; any minute now, he will take the place of the Pope in suggesting what other adjustments in Doctrine the Catholic Church should undertake. And become the Titular Head of Protestant and Jewish Congregations in suggesting how they too should rewrite their religious teachings.
For instance, if Obama’s notion of “Having Sex” aka “Public Health” trumps Religion; what is to prevent Obama from demanding that people not go to church or synagogue but instead, go for exercise? After all, working out is better than sitting in a pew and becoming obese! And Obama pays for people’s health services, doesn’t he? And can’t he extend his “Public Health” power to encompass the notion of the “Public Interest” too? After all, he owns everything and pays for everything. Because it so offends Muslims, can he not ban the eating of pork? And because it offends Muslims9.10 and also because pets mess pubic parks which Obama pays to have cleaned; can he not ban us from having dogs?
But Obama never suggests any change in Muslim doctrine. Instead he shows the most profound respect for it. He doesn’t demand that Muslim women be required, or even allowed, to remove their burkas; even though virtually all of them would like to do so. And it would be in keeping with our Equal Protection clause to provide Muslim women with the same rights as non-Muslim women and all men. Instead, he always supports Muslim Orthodoxy. He has actually agreed to let Muslim women wearing Burkas pat themselves down; instead of demanding that they comply with federal law and be subject to TSA pat-downs.11 … Do you still insist Obama is a Christian who is following our Constitution?
