Liberals usually point fingers at Republicans for something when they are trying to distract and cover up for a Liberal group making money off that same thing. The louder they shout at Republicans, the more money they are making.
Case in point: In 2012, Smith & Wesson’s annual revenue was $135 million, while Electronic Arts posted annual revenue of $4.1 Billion!
When NRA’s Wayne La Pierre called for armed guards in every school, you saw the antics of Code Pink and heard the sneers of the liberal press. But did you know video game makers make 30 times as much money as gun manufacturers do?
In Electronic Arts’ Bulletstorm, victims die gruesome deaths trying to escape from cannibals. It is full of sexual innuendo and explicit depictions of sexual acts, death and dismemberment, with blood and gore spattering everywhere. The player is trained to kill. If he kills while intoxicated, the screen turns blurry and he receives special rewards for an “Intoxicated Skill Shot.”
Warner Brothers’ Interactive Entertainment also posted revenue in the billions. Among its leading video games is Lollipop Chainsaw, a mostly undressed woman warrior with the severed head of her undead boyfriend hanging from her belt, using a chainsaw to massacre the “enemy.” Mortal Combat’s players advance by killing. Extremely violent strikes send the game into a slow-motion x-ray camera, showing visceral internal damage to bones and organs; all the better to desensitize and train the player to use extreme violence. It is so violent; Australia, Germany and South Korea have banned it. Warner Brothers also produced the Batman series. A deranged person copied the Joker’s depraved violence and killed 12 people during the Batman premier.
Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto IV sold 13 million copies and earned $60 million in just three months in 2012. It is unquestionably the most violent video game. The player is trained to indulge in random acts of violence against innocent bystanders, including prostitutes. He can be the pimp. He used to be allowed to have sex with any “girlfriend” he met; thus training him to indulge in random mayhem and enjoy violent sex.
There is a striking resemblance between Grand Theft Auto and the recent “Flash Mob” attacks by gangs of black youths playing a game called “Knockout King.” In at least 60 American cities, gangs have approached an unsuspecting victim, and without warning, punched and knocked the victim senseless. Victims are mostly whites, but also Asians, blacks, gays or older people, who are unlikely to strike back. The perpetrators then post photos of their “triumphs” on social media.
These gangs are not deranged like the boy at Sandy Hook and are not necessarily using guns. They are totally lawless and come from neighborhoods where fathers are absent; young single mothers are unable to supervise and discipline them; religion does not exist and no one teaches them civilized behavior.
Hollywood makes Billions off video games and movies, which teach our most vulnerable young men in inner cities to use extreme violence to perform the most heinous acts. Why is the President silent about all this?
