Obama insists that law abiding gun owners submit to background checks so their private information can be entered into federal databases. Everybody knows this would not stop mass murderers. Murderer Adam Lanza failed a background check but used his mother’s guns.
And the gangsters who control violent cities like Chicago; who committed 62% of gun murders last year; and who provided Obama with 98% of the vote in their precincts; will not be subject to background checks.
Obviously, the sole purpose of these checks is to create a database of law-abiding people that Obama could use to take away their guns.
And Obama is silent about background checks for the nearly 20 million illegals that are here. Red State says we should have background checks, DNA samples and fingerprints to check for crimes committed here before we put illegals on the “path to citizenship.” But what about crimes committed in the illegal’s country of origin?
When someone immigrates legally to the United States, the US Embassy does a thorough background check and an interview in the country of origin. But we have no such requirement for someone here illegally. Why not?
We know that the Mexican Mafia controls the border and chooses which illegals can enter the States. We know that Muslim Terrorists have been infiltrating through our Texas and Arizona borders. We know that many Mexican gang members have entered America and are doing business here. Phoenix, Arizona has a crime wave because gangs are murdering the family members of rival Mexican gangs stashed in Phoenix for safety. Why are we pretending that no gang members are entering the States?
Worse still, it is a simple matter to forge documents to cover up illegal activity. We know that in certain cities, like downtown Los Angeles, Pacoima, or Brooklyn, fifty bucks will get you forged documents: a driver’s license, a green card, a social security number, whatever.
Wouldn’t it be much simpler to forge documents in a foreign country where fifty bucks would go much further? A driver we used in my native country begged for help to come to America. (Incidentally, if, as liberals say, America is so bad, and every other country is just the same as ours, why does everyone want to come to America?) Anyway, the driver had bribed his village headman and obtained a forged birth certificate and other documents attesting he was the son of an US citizen. He had memorized the names and whereabouts of his supposed siblings. But he slipped up during his interview and was denied entry. But the point remains; he was easily able to obtain forged documents.
The Mexican Mafia controls California’s prisons because a vast number of its members have committed crimes here and are incarcerated. According to a 2008 FBI report, Mara Salvatrucha, MS-13, operates in 42 states and in DC and has approximately 10,000 members. More recent estimates are 15,000. Last October, the Treasury designated MS-13 a “transnational criminal organization.”
Obama has waived all requirements and is rushing to legalize all the illegals in order to obtain their votes. Obama is being sued by INS agents because Obama has decreed that ICE cannot question any illegal about their age or which high school they attended; but instead must take the illegal’s word for his entitlement to Obama’s unconstitutional Dream Act regulations.
Why should we allow Obama to foist gun-toting criminals upon us? Before we put illegals on that “path to citizenship,” shouldn’t we send INS agents to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Middle East etc. to do background checks of all illegals residing in the States?
Isn’t doing background checks on illegals much more important than doing background checks on law-abiding gun owning American citizens?
